BMW F 700 GS
Carefree motorcycling fun for everyone! With the F 700 GS – the direct successor to the F 650 GS. A shorter gear transmission ratio in the 75 bhp engine enhances agility while at the same time guaranteeing the bike’s familiar top-class handling. This makes the F 700 GS an ideal all-round machine within the GS family, suitable for every kind of rider – no matter how experienced.
What was good has just gotten better: with ABS as standard* and ESA, not to mention ASC as an option, the ride is not just safer but also offers especially high comfort. Low weight, reduced seat height and a lowering option make the F 700 GS the perfect easy-to-ride all-round adventure bike for any rider.

BMW F 700 GS FEATURES
F 700 GS continue to draw their power from the distinctive, liquid-cooled 4-valve 2-cylinder engine with 798 cc, electronic fuel injection, closed-loop catalytic converter and 6-speed gearbox. Its spontaneous response, impressive pulling power and low fuel consumption are what give it a particular fascination. Another unique feature in serial production motorcycle manufacture is the mass balance based on an additional connecting rod. This compensates for first and second-order inertia forces, ensuring that the 2-cylinder runs with a low level of vibration.
COMFORT
The patented BMW Motorrad ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) is now a standard safety feature for most of their bikes, but this can be turned on and of at your will. Additionally, Automatic Stability Control (ASC) and Electronic Suspension Adjustment (ESA) are available features for the F 700 GS. ASC has been constantly improved by BMW, aiming to make motorcycles even safer without comprising the thrill of riding one. By reducing uncontrolled spin of the rear wheel, it effectively advances ride steadiness in unfavorable conditions such as wet or bumpy surfaces. ASC is in fact, a supplement to the BMW Motorrad ABS as a traction slip regulator and the same as ABS; it can be switched off by pressing a button. On the other hand, Electronic Suspension Adjustment is here to provide motorcycle riding with more comfort, simply by pressing a button. A feature that allows riders to adopt their riding style to match road conditions and the surrounding environment. The adjustment is first made when rider selects the pre-load for the spring mount, and you can then select one of three options available; comfort, normal, or sport. A total of 9 different adjustments can be selected based on load and riding style for rider’s pleasure.
ENGINE
The new F 700 GS draw on established suspension technology. The steel frame in tubular construction integrates the engine as a load-bearing element. The rear frame in square steel tubing, the aluminium double-sided swing arm and the wheels and tyres all remain unchanged. As compared to its predecessor, the new F 700 GS benefits from a boost in terms of output and torque. With 55 kW (75 hp) at 7,300 rpm (F 650 GS: 52 kW [71 hp] at 7,000 rpm), its engine now delivers 4 hp more power and with 77 Nm at 5,500 rpm (F 650 GS: 75 Nm at 4,500 rpm) it also sees an increase in maximum torque.
